I would like very much to speak with anyone the locals have called 'prince' or 'princess.' I have a proposition for you.

Bakura, do you know anything about what has been happening to the refugees? The people being forced out of villages and homes by the thorns? Where are they going, what are they doing?

Does anyone run any kind of a business, by chance? I seem to recall a bakery, and a smithy, though the latter isn't running, the last I heard.

I know I'm going to regret asking, but is there anyone in the city familiar with complex spells? Magics. Whichever. Specifically, would it be possible to link two locations, separated by a large distance? And is anyone capable of this?

And what does anyone know about a disembodied, female voice?

[A moment of silence, then a heavy sigh.]

Also, if there is someone who is familiar with the use of a sword, I'd like to speak with you about the basics. I would rather not make a fool out of myself.

_{[Well, well well! Look whose ugly mug has finally shown back up in the orb. James lays flat on his stomach in the tall grass of the field between the town and the woods. There are twigs and leaves in his hair and he's got...quite a bit of stubble goin' on there. Might even call it the start of a beard. His robes are torn and the circles under his eyes might suggest his father was a raccoon.]

[ today daenerys appears on the orb. what could be noted is that on her shoulder is the black dragon with the hot coal eyes. he seems a bit larger. while he is not the size of a horse, his tail is long enough to coil around her hip. for a minute he simply stares shrewdly at the screen before flapping off dany's shoulder, where she continues to read a large tome in her lap. she turns a page, pauses and glances up at the screen. ]

A strange place this is. In exchange for our freedom it grants us powers we would not know in our own realms. We would be marked as people we are not and told to fight great battles simply because it is the way of it.

[ her tone is slightly wry ]

I can get around just fine without it, and I don't have a clue how to take care of the damn thing. Someone take it off my hands already. Same with this sword thing.
