[OoC: Just put the name of the NPC in the subject line! Magic Peddler is not in town, and thus, unavailable. The Witch can be found in the Two Faced Forest, Anya and Benu, as always, will be the ones doing the finding, The King's always able to be found at the castle and Kori at the Monastery.]

Anya or Benu?

[Cade, having just shown up in the world, will be exploring the town and the surrounding countryside for anything interesting.
This includes walking about town, hiking through the forest, and climbing on quite a few things (trees, roofs, etc.). From time to time, when inspired, Cade may take a rest and strum something out on his guitar.

Hopefully during this exploration he will meet an NPC.]

[[There are plenty NPCs to be found, the mostly nameless throng mills about the city, gossiping and whispering amongst themselves (most of the whispering being done by the young ladies of that silly age where everything results in giggling.

There is one, however, who seems to stand out in the gaggle of girls. Dressed in flowing silks the color of flames, she watches with a knowing smile at her lips, as if finding the world around her highly amusing.]]

[Cade spots her path, and goes to a tree that hangs over where she'll be walking. He grabs a seat on a low-hanging limb, looking as nonchalant as possible as she approaches, tuning his guitar.]

"I know that grin..."

[Cade gives her a sidelong glance and smirks.]

[[She looks up him, eyes sparkling with mischief, not slowing her pace. The look is a challenge. What will he do?]]

KING.

[ daenerys' steps are purposeful, still not wearing the clothes assigned, she strides with two dragons on her shoulders, one in her arms. her gaze level. her voice is clear.]

Is the King here? I would speak with him.

[[The page at the doorway to the throne room nodded, giving her dragons a side eye before pushing open the doors to announce her with formal stiffness]]

The Mage Daenerys Targaryen!

[[It's not a very formal throne room, the King all but lounging in a plush chair that looks like it was built for comfort rather than to be impressive. Various advisers flank him in their own comfy chairs, chatting with various civilians. It's all very relaxed and informal.

The King looks up at the announcement and gives a smile]] Yes, my good Mage! What is it you wish?

..For one I would ask why you call me Mage. I am no Mage, but a Queen, the same rank as you.

[ she eyes what she can only assume to be his court. it seems only to be some sort of banquet, hardly a suitable court. not like hers, at any rate. ]

[[At this, the King looked genuinely befuddled and turned to his nearest adviser]]

When did we get a Queen? There hasn't been a Queen in--

[[Breaks off, realizing that said Queen can here him and looks forward again, strengthening his robes with a small cough.]]

My dear Lady, if there has been some mistake, I am terribly sorry, but I was unaware that there were any Queens at all, outside of the Dragon Kingdom....

after a bit of chittering with myself I think I'mma go with Kori.

[Sasuke is his own private firestorm, bursting into the monastery with a drive that makes the air around him shimmer. After enduring some incredulous poking and declarations of his solidity by a few townspeople, he managed to glean the locale of the person in charge of all things magic related to the kingdom. The mage, Kori.

The person in charge of magic would be the one who knew where Sasuke's power had gone, and more importantly, why. He wanted answers.]

Should be fun :D

[[The young mage was, as often he could be found, in the study at the monastery next to a large pile of sweet breads that he was absentmindedly eating as he read an improbably large book that made him seem even slighter than he was. He didn't even look up as Sasuke entered, utterly absorbed in his study]]

[Right. Drastic measures, then.

Sasuke strode forward, inhaling, and with a forceful push of air, set the bread on fire.]

[[There was a wave of force as response, extinguishing the fire and pushing at Sasuke to drive him back.]]

Kori's reading. [[came the petulant and childish response from behind the book]] Don't be bad!

Now that his control has returned -- now that he once again can decide what appearance he takes -- he pursues the clues he found about the little mage. The Avatar of Order. Who would have thought...?

It is to the monastery that he climbs, in search of Kori.

The young White Mage is in the study, distractedly munching on sweet breads as he studies a comically large tome that makes him look even younger than he is. He doesn't even look up at Loki's entrance, utterly lost in his studies.

Loki knocks on the door frame.

"Mage," he says, with calm, with something that may be interpreted as respect. "May we speak?"

The boy didn't look up from his book. "What is it?"

[ And here Helios will be minding his own business as he makes his way to the Two Faced forest for the afternoon. A black journal is tucked neatly underneath his arm as he continues about his way. Should anyone get a look at it, it's a neatly cataloged source for all the different plants and things in the forest at the moment. He's been going in there for a few weeks now, trying to get the lay of the land and maybe just scope out what herbs and things are actually growing there. His mind is a bit preoccupied at the moment, so pardon him if he accidentally bumps into you. ]

Have a Benu since Anya is far more illusive. :)

[[There's the feeling as if suddenly, he had walked through an open fire, a soft, airy laugh echoing in his mind.

If he turns, he will see a young woman, clothed in flowing silks the color of flames, watching him with an impish smile.]]

[ Helios does feel that, mainly because of his cold skin, but the laughter in his mind id so very hard to ignore. He pauses, dead in his tracks, as he turns around to look at his surroundings. He pauses when he sees Benu standing there and he might look...slightly nervous. But impish smiles like that aren't the typical expressions one usually sees on someone. ] Ah. H-Hello.

And I want Anya too. /greedy

He brings the mirror out to the forest, tosses it on the ground. Surely her attention is at least partially on him at any time; surely she will know that the mirror has moved, that it is exposed to the sunlight, that he is speaking to it.

"The young mage is quite frustrating," he says. "Please, tell me: how do you stand the warriors of Order?"

As he's like.. one of maybe 2 that could call her out... :D

"The same way one stands the 'warriors' of Chaos," came the dry voice from seeming everywhere and no where, though Anya herself did not appear.

"I find them somewhat less obtrusively dim-witted," drawls Loki. "Will you appear, or shall I just speak to the wind?"

[ dany is not pleased with the king and while she doubts the boy would please her either, she's set to find answers wherever they can be found. so she's now here in the monastery, drogon on her shoulder looking for the boy. ]

[[as the King said he would be, Kori is in the library, half hidden behind a over sized old tome of magic, a pile of sweet breads near by as he absentmindedly munches on a muffin as he reads. ]]

[ eventually she sees him. dany is a mother, even though her own child died long ago. so when she notes a head of curly hair hidden in a book, she calls out to him. ]

Child? May I speak with you?
