thequestgiverToday is the 12th day of the The Beginning of the Season of Great Heat in the 137th Year Since the Wall Fell.
The castle has been oddly quiet since the soldiers went to speak to the King... the usual audiences that would be held daily have been canceled and rumors have it that the King himself is preparing for a trip to visit the Thorns himself! Others say that's utter hogwash and that the King has just fallen ill, or into a poor temper at the bad news. Either way, the throne room doors as closed and no one is being allowed admittance, not even the heroes!
Adding to the odd feel over the Kingdom is the thick cloud cover as the Giant Kingdom has decided to park overhead. Very strange... normally the giants don't stay very close to the Kingdom, or at least not the capital, preferring to sail around the world... This combined with the King's very uncharacteristic change in mood, plus the enchanted sleep of the poor little White Mage has put the townsfolk into quite the state themselves, leaving them in an almost serious disposition... Unheard of!
Despite the ever present cloud cover, the day will be quite warm. Just grey. Stupid giants and their lousy floating kingdom...!

Due to holidays, there will likely be no day change next week, and the one after will be late.
