Puppy log!

Characters: Faolan and anyone else who wants to play
Open? Completely!
Where: All over Schwanheim and environs
When: The day and night of the 9th
What: As it's a full moon, it's puppy time!
Warnings:Puppy kisses for everyone!

Faolan had woken with plans to follow the expedition into the forest [it had worked so well during the beanstalk expedition, after all]. However, he woke with the urge to scratch his skin off, which reminded him that it was a full moon [not that he'd forgotten, really, he just wanted to play with everyone]. As this was a new place, he thought it would be best if people didn't see him change. This meant being in wolf form all day. Not really a problem, then.

A half-grown puppy may be found chasing squirrels and birds, running around town, rolling in the grass, chasing his own tail, sitting and looking at the bulletin board, or watching forlornly as Sif and co. leave for the forest. It is very simple to get his attention, and he'd love to play with all of you!

[ooc: let's handwave time because Sif with a puppy is funny to me >_>]

The expedition was set for noon, but of course Sif was there beforehand. She sat down in a clearing and unwrapped her breakfast: bread, cheese, and some fresh sausages. She was hoping to eat undisturbed.

And here is Loki, scooping that puppy into his hands and peering at its eyes. The truth of a person's identity may always be found in the eyes, of course.

"Ah," he says. "Hello, then."

Though he had been keeping his eyes peeled for any strange (possibly cannibalistic) little boys, James had not been on the look-out for wolf pups that afternoon, so he felt at ease walking through the little grove of trees near the Monastery. He'd found a grand staff (it was just a tree limb, really) and he was putting it to good use by poking at bushes and swiping it through tall grass to avoid stepping on some horrible poisonous animal.

He'd even let his mind wander. His guard down. He hated this place. He did. But he couldn't deny that it was sort of peaceful. No bills to pay, no job to do, no Mr. Next Door...

Fakir hadn't expected to see a puppy trying to read the town bulletin board on his way to the forest. Of course, dogs didn't read. Not in most sensible places, at least.

He decided to pause, just for a moment, to make sure the stupid thing wasn't some skin and bones stray. He crouched down, one hand held out.

"Hey, come here," he said, following the command up with a little whistle.

Gretel was rather unnerved to find a wolf, puppy or no, running around so close to town. She'd never seen a wolf, other than on television, and she'd never given them much thought since they weren't found in her part of the world. So it was both unnerving and a little interesting to see a creature she'd never seen before.

Even though it's playing made it seem pleasant enough, Gretel wasn't about to get too close and she stood a few feet off from it before calling out. "Hey, shoo."
