Day Change: the 17th of Great Heat's Beginning
Today is the 17th day of the The Beginning of the Season of Great Heat in the 137th Year Since the Wall Fell.
Giant wolves running around the city, strange goings on in the Demon Shack... while it was good that the heroes went off to try and restore the mythic sword of Rubilacxe, some folks are wondering if maybe some of them should have been asked to stay behind...
There's a general feeling of unease growing that only grows worse the longer the King's absence grows, which is helped by the growing talk of nightmares and abrupt waking from sleep that the townspeople are experiencing. It seems like the poor enchanted little White Mage is the only one getting any proper sleep now a days...!
But at least the Giant's Kingdom has moved on (finally!) and the clouds have cleared up! Maybe the sun will chase away the monsters and nightmares lurking and allow the towns people to start working on who to send to the poor Baking Princess to cheer him up after the loss of his bride. After all, every tragedy was also an opportunity, right? ...what? It's a full moon in Great Heat, someone ought to be making use of it!
