[ It...took Rapunzel some time to figure out how to work the orb; her hands were trembling so much that she'd dropped it several times before she'd even managed to get a good look at it.

When her message comes through, her voice is shaky and her eyes are narrowed in frustration and a bit of fear. What a way to start her birthday… ]

I--I need to know where I really am, what's going on. Please. It's...it's really important that I go home right away. [ A deep breath. ]

F-Flynn? Are you here?

Oh my gosh, Mother really is going to kill me...

I'm fine. Yes, I just...need to get home. Please, it's very important.

[She was going to have a dream come true this isn't fair. It was her birthday.]

There isn't any reliable way for anyone to be sent home yet... the person who was working on it's been a sleep for days...

But if it helps, I'm pretty sure time doesn't pass back home when you're here. It seems to be a sort of thing in these sorts of places.

Wh-what?! Different worlds...? There's...different places other than this where people are kidnapped from different worlds?

[What...that makes no sense to Rapunzel - she doesn't even know anything about her own world, let alone the concept of many others.]

Aaaa-- it's not really kidnapped, but... Places where worlds are in danger or in great need seem to wind up having this sort of thing happen.

Un! The last place I was at was similar, only it was a more modern world and a huge city and it wasn't exactly clear what we were all there to protect... but it was pretty similar over all!

[She pulls on a strand of her hair.]

[[and he gives a touch of a sad smile there]] No, it's not.

[She just -- looks at the orb for a moment, silent in her frustration, fear, and sadness.]

The cake's the easy part! There's a bakery in town, and if there isn't one there, I can make one!

[ aaaah okay it's not that hard to get Rapunzel excited about her birthday again. As weird as this all is, this is a really important day for her -- so she hates to lose it, even...even if she misses the lanterns.

[[and he'll just be casting a few bubbles of light spells and send them floating towards the castle. He's not sure which window she'll be looking out of, so he'll just send enough of them slowly circling so that she'll be sure to spot them.]]

[ She hurries over to the window to look out -- they look like floating lanterns/lights are they floating--

OH MY GOD THEY ARE FLOATING LIGHTS.

He can probably hear the happy shriek from wherever he is. ]

[[Being that Hero House isn't very far from the castle, indeed, he can, and has to cover a small laugh.

Time to go see if he can spot which window she's at and go for a visit~]]

[ movement attracts her attention and she looks down and beams, waving frantically then holding a finger up.

Don't mind her she's just going to find a hook and jump out the window using her hair. He needs a proper thank you after all. ]
