[ It...took Rapunzel some time to figure out how to work the orb; her hands were trembling so much that she'd dropped it several times before she'd even managed to get a good look at it.

When her message comes through, her voice is shaky and her eyes are narrowed in frustration and a bit of fear. What a way to start her birthday… ]

I--I need to know where I really am, what's going on. Please. It's...it's really important that I go home right away. [ A deep breath. ]

[[Smiles warmly]] This way, then! [[and he starts heading over the short distance to house]]

We're still doing a lot of cleaning up, apparently this place was abandoned a long time! [[so cheerful as he explains. Because seriously, it was kinda awesome]] But we have all the bedrooms cleaned up! Though we had to get rid of a few of the beds, but they're not too hard to get new ones if we need them. And since it's just the 5 of us there at the moment, we can always just get a bed from another room if you want one of the rooms with out one.

[[nods, holding the door open for her as they reach the house proper.

The double doors open up to an incredibly large, two story room. Marble floors with a few faded stains that looked as if someone had spent quite a lot of time trying to scrub them clear, two stair cases curving upwards, and a still somewhat sooty fireplace hiding under the eaves of the 2nd floor landing. There wasn't much in the way of furniture and it wasn't very well lit (the empty space where there looked to have been a chandelier betrayed the state of that,) but light streamed in from the two hallways to the side and from the windows on the second floor.

Speaking of the second floor, that's where Bakura's heading, up the right side of the grand double staircase.]]

[ she stands there stupefied for a few moments, eyes wide as she takes everything in. It might be run down, but it’s still one of the most perfect things Rapunzel has ever seen. There’s lots she can do here – and since she can’t really leave at the moment, this was something she could easily throw herself into.

She hurries after him up the stairs, moving quickly to catch up. ]

There's bedrooms on both sides, I think the ones over there are a bit bigger...aa, and if you want a river view, you'd want that side, since Cho and Faolan have the ones facing it on this one... [[moving over to the right side hallway now]]

[[He can't help but grin, reminded of when Matsuka got his first apartment with actual furniture. That same look of wonder, only his was more 'is it really okay' than her more open enthusiasm.]] OK!

[[He takes just a moment to preemptively heal his left arm and hand, rolling his shoulder and flexing his hand before heading over to the large bed.]] We can take the mattress off first, so it's not so heavy! That'll make it easier to move the frame!

[[Voice of experience there. He'd help move at least three of these huge wooden beds now.]]

[ that made sense. she isn't exactly full of brawn but Rapunzel is fairly toned - hauling her own body weight around - and her mothers - has her in decent enough shape.

She heads over to start dragging the mattress off. ]

[[Bakura's also not as wussy as he looks. 3 years super heroing around in the City and being "Trained" but some well meaning, but slightly sadistic friends had helped in getting him in shape and a bit toned.

...though really, when he needed the strength boost, he still cheated with his magic. A few buffs and a back ground heal to take care of any strain did wonders for short term fixes!

Still, he gave a relieved exhale when they were done, flopping down to sit on the bed once it had been setup properly.]]

[ okay that? Hard work. She flips right next to him, a little sweaty but inherently pleased. ]

It's no trouble! These things are far too heavy to carry on your own! [[especially for normal, skinny humans like them]]

And he all but hops back up on his feet.]] Let's go! I can show you all the shops on the way too! Oh! And the best part, since we're the heroes here, most shops will just put anything you want on the king's tab! So you don't need to worry about money or anything like that. Though most people are pretty good about exchanging favors too. [[A pause]] Ne, did they tell you what class you were?

I don't think most people are what people here say they were before they came here. They just like everyone to fit a part of a story, so they make one when you arrive.
