It's been some time since I've been away from Asgard and I recall the times I have left, it was of my own will. While I understand your land is in need of help, as some of the kind people here in town have told me, I have many things to attend to at home. Considering the events that have transpired recently, I believe my family needs me far more than the people of this land.

At this, a low growl. No one has given him the time of day, since he apparently refused to turn back into a wolf. Sif has not spoken to him; Thor has not spoken to him. He is ignored about the town. Infuriating, for one whose pride is such as Loki's.

In part, he blames them. If they could awaken him from the wild, why could they not pull him back into his own form? It must be because they rejected him so.

[matrimony]

She sighs, taking the growl as a negative and reaches out to place a hand on his neck. "I suppose that means we'll just have to be the ones to figure this out."

She pets him softly, mind wandering. "I haven't had the chance to learn much about this land, but I was told there were those who practice sorcery here. I do not know their skills or loyalties yet, but do you believe they could be of help?"

[sorcerous]

If he were a cat, he would pur at her touch. As it is, he licks her hand and hops up onto the bed provided, curling close around himself.

A shake of his head. He outpowers most of them, anyhow, and the rest he doesn't trust.

why did i get no notice for this

She stands and sits on a real seat, watching him with a mix of fondness and worry.

"We will find some way, my son. I swear it."

[sorcerous]

He trusts her. He does. There's a little twitch of his tail, a half-wag. He's not accustomed to controlling the display of his emotions, in this form. And so his hope strains in every muscle.

[matrimony]

She smiles.

"Would you rather we stay here or shall you accompany me while I explore this castle?"

[sorcerous]

He gives a little bark, and stays, nosing at the bed next to him. He just wants to sit with her, quietly, unspeaking. He wants to absorb her presence.

[matrimony]

She takes the hint and moves to sit on the bed next to him. She reaches out to him again, running fingers over the fur on his back. "Stay we shall."
