It's been some time since I've been away from Asgard and I recall the times I have left, it was of my own will. While I understand your land is in need of help, as some of the kind people here in town have told me, I have many things to attend to at home. Considering the events that have transpired recently, I believe my family needs me far more than the people of this land.

My friend — [ a pause, and it's obvious in how tight his jaw is that this is SOMETHING THAT IS GIVING HIM A LOT OF ANXIETY ] — I'm missing a lot of stuff that she remembers. I want to figure out if it's just me or... something that happens more than that.

[ IT'S WEIRD, being so open about such a problem! but he wants to give her enough reason to listen to his request, to see why it's serious business, why he doesn't just want to pry in on their private affairs.

if she doesn't want to, he'd get it. he'll manage on his own, regardless.
