Orb Post: 2nd of Rebirth's Decline

[Many might notice a rumble of thunder in the cloudy sky, and then a single crack of lightning, hitting somewhere outside of Schwanheim.

The very keen-eared might hear a roar, almost animal-like, along with it.

But there is no further commotion, and some time later, the Orb comes on to show a man that many will already recognize: Thor. He is holding a sword somewhat awkwardly, like it's been a while since he held one, and he seems, while not unfriendly, a little tense.]

Greetings, Heroes of Schwanheim. My name is Thor, son of Odin, and I require your eyes and ears.

I am looking for two things that I believe are in this realm. The first is a mighty warhammer that will not be lifted; the second, a dark-haired man that goes by the name Loki L... [He cannot say it. Not that other name.] That goes by Loki.

It is urgent that I find both as soon as possible. Has anyone seen them?

((The hammer, Mjolnir, is somewhere in the Two-Faced Forest, and Loki is Big Bad Wolf-ing it up, but feel free to clue him in to either!))

[That is a COMPLICATED ISSUE, Alanna. But he takes her title more or less in stride, knowing Sif.]

I could certainly think of better times. And places. At the moment things seem to be recovering. There was an incident during the new moon.

Is there anything I can help with while I look for Mjolnir and Loki?

[shorterinperson]

Nothing immediately pressing. You'll be more useful if you settle down first and get the hang of things around here. We're hardly he King's Own but we can at least be organized.

[thoreal]

I'm afraid I do not have the luxury of settling down... Not yet.

[shorterinperson]

Then do what you must, then rest. The Gods only know what this world may have in store for us tomorrow.

Do they? [Because he's one, and he has no idea!]

Most of the time, yes. [ What a strange bearded man you are. ]

Do you speak with them often, Sir Alanna?

[shorterinperson]

Not if I can help it. [ They're nosy, and she's sort of one of their chosen or something. They make her uncomfortable. :C ]

[thoreal]

[Well, that strikes of rejection, and the flicker of uncertainty that moves across his eyes shows that it hit. But he shakes it off readily and flashes her his most charming smile.]

[ Okay you're starting to actually creep her out now. ]

Why are you smiling like that? Do you think I'm lying?

[ Don't mind her she is a dry patch of grass on a hot day. ]
