Orb Post: 2nd of Rebirth's Decline

[Many might notice a rumble of thunder in the cloudy sky, and then a single crack of lightning, hitting somewhere outside of Schwanheim.

The very keen-eared might hear a roar, almost animal-like, along with it.

But there is no further commotion, and some time later, the Orb comes on to show a man that many will already recognize: Thor. He is holding a sword somewhat awkwardly, like it's been a while since he held one, and he seems, while not unfriendly, a little tense.]

Greetings, Heroes of Schwanheim. My name is Thor, son of Odin, and I require your eyes and ears.

I am looking for two things that I believe are in this realm. The first is a mighty warhammer that will not be lifted; the second, a dark-haired man that goes by the name Loki L... [He cannot say it. Not that other name.] That goes by Loki.

It is urgent that I find both as soon as possible. Has anyone seen them?

((The hammer, Mjolnir, is somewhere in the Two-Faced Forest, and Loki is Big Bad Wolf-ing it up, but feel free to clue him in to either!))

[It is a trial not to think of her friend, when lightning comes. It has been a trial for some time. And for a moment, she is so sure. The way she knows home, the way she knows her own name and creed. But it passes until--]

[thoreal]

Sif? [He's pleased, but confused.] What are you doing here, my friend?

[brosif]

Where in the thrice damned world tree have you been?

[thoreal]

[What the Hel?] I went to Midgard. To recover Loki. You know this.

[brosif]

[The inaccuracies in that sentence are staggering enough that she takes a moment to decide what must be given priority.]

Thor, Loki is here. You know this. I saw him myself not one day ago.

And Midgard is closed to us. You know that as well.

[thoreal]

No, Sif. There was a way... but did you say one day ago? How can that be?

[He must have traveled through time as well, he reasons. That is not good: Loki, left to his own devices, in a strange land, with--

Thor stiffens.]

The tesseract. Is it here as well, then?

[shiromadoushi]

Anything more specific about how he looks?

[[Someday he really needs to remember to ask people to tell him their names again....]]

[thoreal]

Slim, tall, dark of hair, blue of eye. And he is-- noted-- for his way with words.

[shiromadoushi]

Oh! [[perks up, now having a name to go with that person]] He's here, yeah! [[nods with a smile]] Though I haven't seen him for a couple days so I'm not sure where he'd be at the moment...

[thoreal]

[A "couple" of days, now.] Do you know how long he has been here?

[shiromadoushi]

Aaaa..... [[Falters a touch here. He should know this... ]] At least a few weeks... Maybe a month or so?

[thoreal]

[This, too, is troubling. Thor isn't very skilled at subtlety, but he tries to talk around his concerns a little.]

And how has he been faring in that time?

[Just how much trouble has he caused?]

[brosif]

The tesseract? The relic that fell from Asgard? It is not here. Loki is here. I am here.

[There is nothing of caution in her voice, towards Loki. Nothing that would indicate that she viewed his presence here as a danger.]

You were here, briefly, and then we heard nothing from you for weeks. Not even when we called for you.

[thoreal]

No, Sif. I have never been here. I was last in Midgard, and Asgard before that.

[And something is very, very strange here. She speaks as if she's from the past, but to claim he's already been here, a future event...

He hates this, but a flicker of suspicion, of doubt, crosses his mind. Could Loki's powers have strengthened during his time here?]

My brother...

[shiromadoushi]

He seems like he's doing all right... [[There was that time he had looked awful though... and the last Bakura had seen him, Sif did have him up in a tree...]]

[thoreal]

[This is clearly not the answer he expected.]

There has been no... trouble?

[shiromadoushi]

Depends what sort of trouble you mean! This place sort of makes its own trouble....

[brosif]

Thor. You were here. I spoke with you. There was barely a conversation between us before you vanished.

[A frown -- there is magic to blame, surely. But she does not think the younger Odinson the culprit.]

Has been concerned for you. He brought his worries to me.

Loki? The last I saw of him he had decided to return to the castle. Why would you be looking for him?

[And he smiles. Since after asking for an explanation it would only be polite to introduce himself as well. ]

Your hammer I will keep an eye out for, but of the man Loki I know not.

[ Except she did, sans his name. Oops. ]

Played with Loki last week! He was fox. Was fun!

[That should likely make him even more suspicious, and perhaps Stark or Fury would be; but Thor looks up hopefully at those last words.]

Sif, I don't-- what is the last thing you remember before coming to this place? What was the last thing Loki did?

Has there been anything particularly out of the ordinary? That could not be explained by the magicks here?

Loki is my brother. [Also kind of a psycho?] I am very concerned for his well-being. [And also the psycho thing.] We were together before I was drawn to this realm.
