02 Water Drops ♒ Housewarming

[The orb seemed to be rolling across a dirt floor, a cacophony of crashing sounds accompanied it.]

This will never do...

[Rani exhaled plaintively as she crossed over to place her hand on the orb. Most of the sounds ceased save for a persistent dripping. Her troubled yet serene face gazed into the orb]

The other talents make it look so easy.. [but she was getting ahead of herself] Hello everyone. [She tried for a smile] I did enjoy my stay at the castle, but I thought it would be nice to make my own home. [something closer to nature and her element] .. but I'm afraid it's not going very well.

[She moved aside so everyone could get a better look. The house was nestled inside half of a hollowed out log. Water dripped from a knot on the ceiling collecting in a thimble that had been placed below it. There had been an attempt to make furniture but the remnants of which were strewn about.] Does.. anyone here know how to make fairy sized furniture? I could really use the help. Any help really.

I've made miniatures for games before, if that might work? [[he has no idea how well they hold weight, but if she was small enough, she should be light enough, right?]]

[Hearing the Clumsy's voice, Rani took the liberty of taking a seat on the ground. She smoothed out her skirts and offered him a warm smile]

There are games that involve furniture? [It sounded most intriguing] I can't say with any certainty whether they would work or not but.. I would like to see some of your work!

I don't have too many things I've already made here, since I mostly made the figures and a few buildings, but I can make something simple to start, as long as I know what size to make it.

And I build boards for my TRPGs! So I make the towns and forests and entire world for everyone to explore!

Are you sure we have the right material here for your creations? [Ignores the size thing for a moment] I could help gather anything you need. It might take me a while but I'd get them for you. [Now back to the size issue] We could meet somewhere that should help you decide what size you need, right?

[Then Bakura said THAT, and it completely boggled her mind. Clapping herhands to the side of her faceshe exclaimed] You make entire worlds!? I don't even think Neverland is capable of that, and it's capable of a good many things. It's no wonder you were summoned here!

Aaa-- game worlds, not full sized! [[corrected quickly]] It's just miniatures!

Oh, dear. I've never tried anything like that before, but perhaps I can help?

[Her glow brightened when she realized who was speaking to her now.]

Tatra! [It was her friend that had been so kind to serve her tea when she arrived]

At the very least, I would be glad for the company. We might be able to come up with something if we work together.

I'm sure I can find some way to help. Where are you, exactly?

I'm in an abandoned log out by a tiny little stream. It's not too far from the castle but once I saw the bitty thing I knew I just had to live near it. [The stream that is.]

Why would you move out of the castle?

The castle is very nice but it is a bit too.... [How could she put it nicely]

.. big for a fairy. [Just climbing up the stairs could take the better portion of the day if she did it alone!]

[The moment the girl said that a gasp rang out over the orb. Rani quickly looked herself over to make sure she was still here. A fairy could die from disbelief.]

You must never say something like that.. [She tried to explain] There are a variety of fairies but some of us can disappear when someone doesn't know or believe that we exist.

The type of fairy I am are known as the Never fairies. We live on Neverland and each specialize in a particular talent. My talent stems from water. I'm able to manipulate water.

I did learn some wood carving when I was younger... I'm by no means an expert, but maybe I can lend a hand if you find no better options?

I wouldn't call it a "talent" as much as "beginner level knowledge" but it's good that I can put it to use anyway.

Plants might be just the thing to spruce up the place. [Rani nodded. Though not a garden-talent herself she appreciated plants and their love of water too.]

Fairy-sized. I did appreciate the castle but that clumsy furniture was just so large.

[She recognized him from before and was glad to see him once again. He seemed a little confused]

You're acting like you've never seen a fairy before.

[She giggled but stopped herself soon there after. Sometimes when clumsies got older, they lost the ability to see fairies. It would be cruel to laugh at him for that.]
