[The orb seemed to be rolling across a dirt floor, a cacophony of crashing sounds accompanied it.]

This will never do...

[Rani exhaled plaintively as she crossed over to place her hand on the orb. Most of the sounds ceased save for a persistent dripping. Her troubled yet serene face gazed into the orb]

The other talents make it look so easy.. [but she was getting ahead of herself] Hello everyone. [She tried for a smile] I did enjoy my stay at the castle, but I thought it would be nice to make my own home. [something closer to nature and her element] .. but I'm afraid it's not going very well.

[She moved aside so everyone could get a better look. The house was nestled inside half of a hollowed out log. Water dripped from a knot on the ceiling collecting in a thimble that had been placed below it. There had been an attempt to make furniture but the remnants of which were strewn about.] Does.. anyone here know how to make fairy sized furniture? I could really use the help. Any help really.

[ She was listening for just that, and was able to come over immediately. She smiles down at her tiny friend. ]

Ah, there you are! I'm sorry, did I keep you waiting long?

[She stopped manipulating the water and let gravity take over. With a shake of the head]

No, not long. I should have given you better directions.

[She motioned to the leaf filled with water]

You must be thirsty after your journey.

Oh, no, your directions were perfect! [ Tatra glances down at the leaf and smiles. ]

I am, thank you!

As long as you're sure.

[She gladly smiled when Tatra offered her some assurance.]

It was no trouble at all. [Unfortunately, she had no chair to offer Tatra.. and well she had no chair for herself since her home was still under renovation. Rani would be content to sit on her roof though.]

[ Tatra was happy enough to fan her skirts around her and sit on the ground. ]

What can I help with?

[Rani couldn't help but watch as the rich fabric moved so gracefully around the other. What marvelous materials clumsies had to work with.

She compared just how small her house was to Tatra.. and... wasn't sure what to tell her.]

Oh, well.. [You could hear the gentle dripping of the leaky roof in the background]

Do you know of something that could be used to catch falling water? Maybe you could help me find something like a nutshell or a sturdy corn husk?

Oh yes, of course!

[ The princess rose ever so gracefully and began searching the nearby area. There were plenty of squirrel-eaten shells, and even a few fallen leaves that looked particularly glossy and waterproof. She brought a handful of these items for Rani to pick and choose from. ]

[Such an expedition would have taken Rani the better portion of the day. How she missed being able to ride on Brother Dove's back. She wondered if he missed her too. She was tempted to try calling him anyway.. perhaps if Neverland knew how much she needed him, it would find a way to send him.

Luckily she didn't have long to dwell on her inability to fly for long. Tatra brought back such a marvelous assortment!]

You managed to find so many things!

[Admittedly, she adored the glossy sheen of the leaf, she could imagine the way it would catch the light and how the light reflecting off of it and the water itself would dance across the wooden interior.]

This is much more remarkable than I'd been thinking about. [She expressed as she was still looking over the leaf] I think it will do quite nicely.

[The nuts all came in different shapes and sizes... they might serve a purpose too.]

Oh! And the smaller nutshells would serve me well as cups and bowls!

If there's anything from the castle that you think might be useful, I could bring those as well!

[ Like thimbles. She could bring so many thimbles. ]

Let's see..

[She settled back down and drew out a leaf-kerchief to jot a few notes down on.]

We have bowls, cups and a water basin. [This other clumsy had agreed to make her a bed... but she would need bedding, cabinets of some kind, at least one chair and a table. Oo! and a wardrobe... to hold her dresses? She looked pensively down at her clothes and wondered if they were showing any wear and tear. To be honest she only had the one dress... still]

I seem to remember seeing this tall wooden object in the castle? It was wider on the ends and thinner in the center and it had thread wrapped all around it?

Whatever it was would be ideal for a table! [She struggled to describe the spool of thread]

It had thread around it? [ Sounds like a spool to her. ]

I could get you a few of those! And maybe some small boxes, to hold things?

Oh yes, those would be lovely too!

[Little boxes could be turned on their side too to make little cabinets or shelving units]

I'll bring as many as I can find.

We'll have this place inhabitable in no time!
