[The orb seemed to be rolling across a dirt floor, a cacophony of crashing sounds accompanied it.]

This will never do...

[Rani exhaled plaintively as she crossed over to place her hand on the orb. Most of the sounds ceased save for a persistent dripping. Her troubled yet serene face gazed into the orb]

The other talents make it look so easy.. [but she was getting ahead of herself] Hello everyone. [She tried for a smile] I did enjoy my stay at the castle, but I thought it would be nice to make my own home. [something closer to nature and her element] .. but I'm afraid it's not going very well.

[She moved aside so everyone could get a better look. The house was nestled inside half of a hollowed out log. Water dripped from a knot on the ceiling collecting in a thimble that had been placed below it. There had been an attempt to make furniture but the remnants of which were strewn about.] Does.. anyone here know how to make fairy sized furniture? I could really use the help. Any help really.

You're acting like you've never seen a fairy before.

[She giggled but stopped herself soon there after. Sometimes when clumsies got older, they lost the ability to see fairies. It would be cruel to laugh at him for that.]

_{[He HAD seen a fae or two...but they were horrible, beetle-eyed things that stole children and turned milk. Not tiny ladies.]}

[Rani would have been surprised to know that such wicked creatures existed. Their biggest worry came from Kyto the dragon, pirates, or disbelief.]

Well now you have. [She offered a gentle smile]

"I guess you really fit the bill for this place then...supposin' you were always a fairy."

James was suddenly thankful he'd become a wizard and not anything else. He wasn't sure if he could handle being six inches tall.

Well.. not always. I was a bat once, but I started out as the first laugh of a newborn clumsy. All Never fairies start out as a first laugh.

[He's smoked some things and heard a lot of stuff, but that's...a new one.]}

And how's that work out?

Quite well, usually. Occasionally a fairy will arrive incomplete but..

[She trailed off not wanting to think about it. Incomplete fairies didn't usually last too long]

_{[JW is still trying to work out how laughter becomes a tiny person but you know what, he was randomly a wizard so whatever.]

[Then he got to wondering if a fairy came from his first laugh.]

[He felt sorry for it if it did.]}

Then what happens?

[It was kind of hard to explain, hoe something intangible turned into something tangible but it was the most normal thing in the world in Neverland. Also it marked the time of great celebration. A new arrival was always a great thrill]

[Hm, perhaps they should also make such festivities whenever someone arrived here!]

Once they arrive in Neverland, all the fairies gather to greet them and to discover what talent they possess. It is quite exciting!

_{[JW is quiet while she explains, though this time, he gives little back in the way of a reply. He just looks down at the orb in his hands and tries to work that out.]

[He felt like he'd been told horses come from the horse factory and that everyone ought to know that.]}

[She couldn't help but notice his silence after a few minutes or so of prattling on excitedly about Neverland]

Oh! I've just been going on and on. You should tell me about your home sometime.
