Rebirth Height 11 - Orb 2

[ Alanna appears decked out in light armor on the open field the king's men use to train. Her weapons are behind her and her violet eyes glitter with determination. ]

It's been quite long enough, I think, for each of us to get our bearings. It's time we started to train for whatever madness this realm intends to throw our way.

[ She turns to give a view of her location, the weapons ready to be used, other training gear strewn about the field. ]

If you're with me, we will meet on the training yard today. Bring whatever weapons you can use. We'll see if we can't learn to work together.

That our goals align does not surprise me.

I think the first step to seeing if these people are protected is to see what it is that they are accustomed to. If they act as if the thorns present no threat, then that may very well be true. [All realms have areas best left alone. Sif has been talked into going on quests in almost all of them.]

What royals consider a problem and what the people consider a problem can be vastly different.

I believe that the king will be holding an audience very soon. I will ask him about the state of his people and see what he has to say.

Or who says it for him.

I've stood before Odin himself. The king does not intimidate me.

...which is not to say that I won't get myself kicked out as well. All the same.

But the King has made a strike towards you. By bringing you here against your will. Why, then, should he not be made to answer for his poor judgements?

[This type of caution, Sif doesn't wholly understand. Odin threw his spear three times at Gullveig and was forgiven. Loki slew Laufrey and no one was upset with him for that murder.]

I am...interested in figuring out what has happened, and proceeding from there.
