As the Heroes of Schwanheim rushed at the Hero of the Mountain, the time around them shattered, the Hero of the Mountain's time magic clashing against the magic of the grey stones the Heroes all had been given so that instead of being flung off into the farthest reaches of time, they and a part of the Hero of the Mountain were splintered off like the spokes in a wheel.
In each spoke, a battle raged, the hourglass that seemed to hold the source of the Hero's power shattered and the demon inside the sands released, the hero herself slain by either the demon she had wielded the power of, or by the Heroes. The demon itself, thinking that it would be stronger once free of its prison found itself instead weakened, and as the Heroes unknowingly worked in concert, the deadly blows landed all at the same time, destroying the demon and undoing the shattering of time so that all the Heroes once again stood together, as if they had never been parted.
As the sands of the shattered hourglass blew away in the wind, so too did the effects of the warping of time fade way. The King returned as if he had never left, the clock in the town began to run with it's old reliability and signboard in town returned to its former inane glory, its caretaker resuming his job with no word to where he had been.
And yet, all was not as it had once been. In that spot where the battle raged, there is a strange point of magic. A warping of space that seems to pulse. It is only visible to those who hold magic deep within them, or those who have been touched by it and those who's magic can see into the future may find themselves drawn to it and their arts touched by its strange power.
[[OoC: If there's anything else left from that plot that needs to be addressed, please let me know! Again, sorry for my fail with this for so long and thanks for being patient with me!]]
