Day Change: the 1st of Great Heat's Height
Today is the 1st day of the The Height of the Season of Great Heat in the 137th Year Since the Wall Fell.
Rumors are flying left and right today, though really, that's no different than normal! But the hushed whispers of a figure cloaked all in white (or was it black? or maybe grey... well. Cloaked in something!) lurking out in the fields just outside the town. Rumors conflict, but one thing is for sure is that the figure seemed to be talking to someone... maybe quite a few someones, since it seemed that there were quite a few voices coming from that field, as well as some frankly distressing laughter...
Speaking of distressing, it would appear that the Cursed Princess ran into quite some trouble while going on a tour of the thorns that threaten the kingdom. It took anywhere from three to an entire company of soldiers (depending on who you spoke to) to rescue the delicate maiden from the thorns vicious grasp! The poor Princes was in quite a poor mood after, no doubt troubled by the possible harm her guard could have come too!
The weather is expected to be hot and dry, with a sudden freak rainstorm in the middle of the day. Possibly with thunder, since it is the height of Great Heat after all.
