Day Change: the 19th of Great Heat's Beginning
Today is the 19th day of the The Beginning of the Season of Great Heat in the 137th Year Since the Wall Fell.
Almost the Height of the Great Heat and boy is it starting to show! The air is warm, the birds are singing, the bars are brawling... aah, the signs of the warmest days when the sun graces the Kingdom with it's greatest heat...
...oh, the bar fight? Oh yes, while hardly the first of the season (the season really had started back at the beginning of Great Heat, after all!) this was the first where a hero had joined in the tradition! And given the first blow! So nice to see the heroes getting in on local tradition~ Though the appearance of a random monster in the bar had thrown the whole thing into chaos. But thankfully the hero White Mage had been on hand to take care of the major injuries. And the minor ones. And the hangnails.
Speaking of White Mages, the monks have starting barring people from going to check up on the King's young White Mage and won't even tell anyone if he's awake or not. Rumor has that the King himself had wanted to see how the boy was doing but something had happened (what, no one could really be sure, all the rumors were conflicting, even more than normal) and he had been turned away. Quite scandalous!
The weather is expected to continue to get warmer. No clouds, no rain, just sweet sweet sunshine.
