Day Change: the 14th of Great Heat's Beginning
Today is the 14th day of the The Beginning of the Season of Great Heat in the 137th Year Since the Wall Fell.
..wait, what happened to the 13th? Blame the ever present cloud cover of the Giant Kingdom for the strange break in the updating of the gossip board. Any other suggestion would be far to wild, though goodness knows there's much to choose from! Perhaps with the young White Mage still asleep the fabric of the world is starting to break down again like when the Hero of the Mountains arrived? There have been rather strange goings on out in the field where the Great Battle was held, after all! Why, did you know that Terrance the Ruffian was caught out there during the New Moon and only just now emerged, days later, as if nothing had changed? Of course Terrance is called the Ruffian for good reason and has been known to be a liar in the past, but let that do nothing to dissuade anyone from believing his story! After all, it is a very good one. And convenient...!
The King's seclusion continues, much to the growing dismay of the populous. Why, it's even been said that he himself has gone out into the formerly White Forest to observe the strange and mysterious tower that stands so starkly among the charred tree trunks... Though that's a silly rumor. The King, going out into the world to check up on something himself? Why, that's the work for a Prince or a Hero, certainly not the King! Think of the damage it would do his reputation if something like that were to be true! Tsk tsk...
The weather will continue to be cloudy. Better get used to it until the Giants decide to move again...
