Day Change: the 11th of Great Heat's Beginning
Today is the 11th day of the The Beginning of the Season of Great Heat in the 137th Year Since the Wall Fell
Old Bitty WatchYerMouth seems to have vanished somewhere over night... and for once, there are very few rumors regarding the disappearance...! Just some knowing looks and smiles as the local gaggles reconveined at thegossip news board.
Though most of the chatter is about the singing contest that had been held to determine which hero had the most pleasing voice to go into sun battle against the horrible monster in the Two Faced Forest!
...that had been oddly quite for being a monster at large... Perhaps it was the work of the Princess who bravely ventured out in search of it? Or perhaps the new arrival with his impressively dark skin and red eyes has some sort of connection to it?
Whatever the case, as long as it stayed in the Two Faced Forest, it was the heroes' problem to deal with. The monsters in there never bothered the town unless it was the New Moon, after all!
In more hushed whispers is talk about something strangely serious for the normally bobble headed townsfolk. A group of soldiers were returning from their posts by the Thorns... perhaps that was the reason for the King's change shift in behavior? As for what shift in behavior, the reports are mixed. No one can really put their finger on it, but he just seems... different. Must be all that worry about the poor little White Mage who was still asleep in the monastery as he had been since the fire in the formerly White Forest.... Really, it was very fortunate that one of the Heroes was also a White Mage, else the town would never hear the end of grandma Gretchen's arches and pains....
Weather is expected to be still rather cloudy. A very slow pass by the Giants this time, it seems. Perhaps someone should ask them to get moving and stop blocking the sun... Maybe when the heroes are done with that horrible monster....
