Day Change: the 10th of Great Heat's Beginning
Today is the 10th day of the The Beginning of the Season of Great Heat in the 137th Year Since the Wall Fell and the 2nd day of Old Bitty WatchYerMouth's reign of terror over the rumor board. Erm. Pardon, the News board. Don't want Old Bitty hearing you calling it anything about rumors...
Despite the lack of the board to centralize them, the rumors have resumed their orbit around the city. The return of the Demon of the Old Shack at the same time as a new monster was sighted in the Two Faced Forest (in the daytime, no less!) could never just be coincidence! Why, there was even a thunderous outpouring from the forest right before he was spotted as the squirrels (which had started coming out again in his absence) all rushed to get away! You know a person is bad when the wildlife of the forest flees in terror at them!
Though the rational mind might point out that the giant monster might have been what sent them all running... through the "giant" part of that is in dispute as no two people have reported the same size... And the strangest contest is being held by the heroes to see who will have the chance to best this horrible creature....
Weather is expected to be cloudy, but warm, with rumbles in the sky later as the Giant Kingdom passes overhead again. Don't bother asking why it's back so soon, only the giants know! And not even all of them. You know how Giants are, after all. Wait, what do you mean you don't?
