Does anyone know what this is?

[He holds up a pendant. Something white and curved and thin is attached to it, along with a small satchel.]

There were fourteen of them on our doorstep this morning.

I'm afraid I'm not terribly familiar with anatomy. What about the rest of it? What is the rope made of, and can you smell any herbs or anything it may have been rubbed with?

The rope just looks like cotton, and it doesn't smell like anything--but the satchel is full of rose petals and rosemary leaves, and has three small polished rocks in it.

Rose and rosemary. [ Cotton is pretty standard, doesn't really help. ]

What sort of stones?

Shiny. Red, yellow and purple.

You don't know what kind?

I'm not sure what you mean.

Different stones of the same color can be used for very different spells!

I thought stones were stones.

Oh no, they're all quite different! They're made of different things and in different ways, and it gives them different colors and textures and magical properties.

I'm sorry. I still don't know what kind of stones they are, but this is what they look like.

[He holds them in his palm towards the orb.]

Hmmm. [ She eyes them critically. ]

I've never seen stones like those in my life!

[ Yeah, all the minerals are different in her world. ]
