Day Change: the 1st of Great Heat's Beginning.
Today is the 1st day of the The Beginning of the Season of Great Heat in the 137th Year Since the Wall Fell.
Despite the heat in the air, the Big River, or what's left of it, is ice cold as it flows through town (much to the delight of the ragamuffins to whom the start of the Great Heat marks the start of swimming season, even with the low levels of water!)
Rumors are flying fast and furious to what the cause might be and the heroes may find themselves being pestered about it, or even accused of being the cause! Either way, something upstream is causing trouble and the heroes will find themselves being bothered endlessly to go do something about that all ready.
The other major rumor has to do with the mysterious disappearance of the Princess Alayne and the frantic searching for her by the Prince Sif. Foul play in their courtly romance? Jealous former lovers interfering with the new couple? Or did the Princess simply run away, having no other recourse to deal with her assorted loves fighting over her?
Clouds are called for, but still no rain, just the growing heat. And fires. No really, there's a fire somewhere. Or there will be. Maybe. Possibly. The forecaster is getting necrotic to the point of obsession about it. Poor man just needs a vacation.

Loki's Ice Tower plot will be starting this in game day!
This day will last from 9/23 til 9/30. If you guys have things your characters has done that you want seen on the day change posts, please PM or pester on plurk! Any comments made to this post will be visible on the day change board and in the Book Of Rumors!
