[The orb comes up, and Sif is surrounded by a small but dedicated throng of villagers. All of whom are waving pieces of paper about. Her hair is disheveled, and as she brings a hand up to tug on her necklace there is a very audible crack as her elbow connects with the nose of a young maiden. It is accidental, but satisfying.]

What in all the worlds has gotten into the townspeople, this day? My autograph has been requested more times this morning than in the past month.

[Now, this is interesting. From a distance, Sif has taken Tatra's slavish devotion to manners as a sign of a simple mind. Perhaps there is more to it.]

So you are unconcerned by what may be happening?

I am curious, but I doubt that it is a sign of anything dangerous. What could possibly be gained through our signatures to harm us that couldn't have been gained otherwise?

[ Tatra is smart okay she just doesn't have much opportunity to show it. ]

Any spell using someone's name requires more finesse that simply asking for it.

In this place? A multitude of things that I very regretfully can begin to imagine.

Not likely magic, no. Signatures can be used for legal papers, but not in this manner. Likely it's all a silly misunderstanding!

Likely, it isn't.

Well, what do you think it is?

I do not yet know. But I am not content deciding arbitrarily that everything shall be fine.

No, but it's hardly any excuse to cause a panic.
