Ginia was on a mission, if a mission could be considered the utterly selfish act of robbing Schwanheim blind. At the start, things were almost utilitarian; she only stole useful things or things that could be given away to others less fortunate. A bit of honorable Robin Hooding. Now? Deep in the clutches of the necklace, angry at her friends for trying to stop her, and needing to feed that increasingly difficult fix?

Oh, it was on.

Like many people looking to feed a fix, caution was abandoned. While she still kept to the shadows, stealthed around when she could, shadow jumped as necessary, she was striking in the day now. It was the same as always; get into a house or lift an item from a stall, get away, drop off the item somewhere safe, hit the next target. But now she needed more expensive things, more rare things, shinier things.

And woe be to anyone who dared get in her way or tried to stop her.

"Mmm." Arms still crossed, but now she's frowning a little. "Why?"

Sometimes do you ever do something just to see if you can?

"Did it occur to you, perhaps, to ask?" She leaned back, looking around the street, which was now fa messier than it had begun. "Let's take a little walk." She turned to head up the street.

Asking was a possibility, but... well. Ginia shrugs, guilty as charged, and falls into step alongside Liara. She's still a little twitchy to steal something, but it's nice walking in the company of someone who isn't trying to convince her to not steal.

Liara's planning on using her, tomorrow, to steal things Liara wants. She was not nearly hypocritical enough to say anything to Ginia about her habits. Besides, she's not as aware as others that Ginia alone is behind the rash of crime; lacking video feeds puts a damper on some kinds of intelligence gathering.

"I've been thinking that I'll need to create some kind of incident if I'm going to keep the young man everyone seems careful around fully...occupied. I've even thought of a few things I might try if he's more reluctant than I'd hope." She glanced at Ginia. "But I'm still not certain where the best places to look might be."

What sort of distractions did you have in mind? Ginia asks, focusing a bit on the heist. Focusing on the plan helps her curb the urge to steal, though the feeling is always there, lingering, waiting, demanding all her attention.

As for finding books to take, I've taken a look around myself to learn the layout. There's a few history books - or at least I think they're history books - that would be worth grabbing.

"Something noisy." A little smile on her lips. "I intend to catch the attention of the mage. I was thinking of asking him to help me with my war." She looked over at Ginia.

"Histories are good, but what we really want is magic. Look for the mage's room, see what he has stashed. If there's anything, chances are it'll be there."
