[Log] A sort of magic... do you want it?
Characters: The Magic Peddler
Open? Yes~
Where: Everywhere~
When: All day the 15th of Rebirth's Decline.
What: The Magic Peddler is out selling his wares. What plot significant magical and cursed little doodad will your character acquire?
He's a slightly wizened old man; the large pack on his back has bent him over the years and his long grey beard looks to have not seen much of a comb in years. Yet he is clean, his brown tunic studded with light green tile that look like faded lily pads drifting in a muddied swamp, washed out from sun and wash. The charms hanging from the gold bands adorning his arms glitter, polished white and smooth as they clink together with every step.
There's something about him that draws the curiosity. The hopeful, the unguarded, the ambitious, those who have much to gain, those who have little to lose. He has something for them all, hidden treasures none have ever unearthed before. What is waiting for you, inside his pack?

victimbuyer today as Helios walks around a bit more chipper and cheerful thanks to his recently healed arm. It's nice not being in tremendous pain and Helios likes it very much. He'll wander over at some point looking at the items with interest. ] This is a rather amazing collection you have.Anything specific you want for him?
Not that I can think of. Surprises could be cool though. >:3

The book was bound in leather, the worn etching of a tree done in faded gold leaf on the cover. The pages inside, however, were blank.
"I myself an unable to write on those pages, but I wonder if you would have better luck..."

"Wh-what does it do? Do you know? W-Writing on the pages I mean." Something like this is bound to have some consequence isn't it? Most magical artifacts acted like that anyway.

"D-Do you...want any payment for it?" It seems a bit unfair to just take it like this after all.

"Would it...be too much to ask if, um, you have any information on the places where you acquire these things?" Helios would love to visit especially if magical items and artifacts are in the picture.

"I'll have to try and see how it works. I-I wonder if anyone c-can write in it." Hm. All good things to consider and think about. He gives the peddler a nod and a warm smile. "Thank you again."
