What: Shin goes dream walking.

Even in Dreams, Shin was restless. Without the normal background hum of hundreds of Dreamers, the Dreaming felt empty. Hollow.

Far to much like it had when his Dreaming had been sealed.

There were still the doors to the dreams of everyone who was asleep, even if so many of them seemed like cardboard cut outs... It was easy to spot the ones of those who weren't native of the world. They were more real, solid, and he could feel more clearly who was behind them. It was something he had noticed before, back home. The doors to fellow Dreamers were the more vibrant and real, and those who had strong powers were a close second. Idly he drifted through the insubstantial hallway, knocking on some to announce his presence, others just phasing into the dream and looking around. After all, it wasn't as if he expected most people to hear him knocking. They'd have to be aware for that, and he knew for a fact that there were no other Dreamers around and active dreamers were rare.

"It's an easy trap to fall into."

"Most traps are."

He looked over. "How do you normally go about getting your information? Computer research like this?"

"It's an organizational tool as much as anything." She waves. "What I learn I file. But it's hardly just programs doing data mining."

Shin nodded, fingers trailing lightly over the machine, not even truelove touching it. "So it shouldn't be too hard to make a different system to fill in for it," he mused. "This probably helps for recall."

Liara frowned at the screens again. "It's rather difficult to remember everything I've gotten. The universe is a very big place." She glanced at the hovering orb of light. "Even so, without any information coming in, it doesn't really matter how I plan to sort it, does it?"

"But you haven't forgotten any of it, and things like this are really good at finding those things you think you've lost," Shin pointed out. "And there's always information coming in. It's just not from different people, right?"

"Charming. But even I can't memorize data spanning thousands of years and thousands of systems. Mineral resource surveys, studies of indigenous lifeforms, medical research, covert government actions...it becomes a bit overwhelming."

"You don't need to. Just what you're looking for, right?" Shin asked, fingers finally resting on the control panel, bringing it to life.

"I've read a few reports on deadly flora on dozens of worlds. If any of them might help..." She leaned back, arms crossed as she watched him.

Shin nodded, fingers moving across the screen. "Try and focus on it, I think it helps..." he commented as he reached through the surface of the dream to the sleeping mind underneath to help her pull up the information. If it was successful at all, it would show up on the screen.

She wasn't exaggerating about having information from all over the galaxy...but there's still a lot there about plants that have proven dangerous for more than being poisonous if eaten. She looked impressed as the screen filled up.

"You do realize that most of this is probably useless, right?"

"Probably. But it makes you feel better to have it, right?"
