Day Change: the 9th of Rebirth's Decline
The air is surprisingly still today. The sky is blue with no sign of clouds, but yet there's some sort of almost ominous feel to it. Not that the locals notice. The good weather is just another joyful part of having the Hero of the Mountain in the capital! Now if only that good for nothing King of theirs would hurry up and get back. Really, just jaunting off like that, who did he think he was, Prince Charming? Well, if he doesn't get back soon, they were just going to have to have the host of prince and princesses hold the ball and give the Hero their blessing instead. While not as proper, they were still royalty, right?
The observant may have noticed that the thorns that normally rise up around the Two Faced Forest at night did not last night. But nothing emerged from the forest either. In fact, it was as quiet in the night as it had been during the day. Another miracle of the Hero, perhaps? Along with all the sick she keeps bringing back to health, the buildings being restored to their former glory, it does seem likely!
Though she doesn't seem to be able to do a thing about the clock tower, however. It seems to have finally given up and gone still. But hardly anyone notices, what with everything else going on!
Another curious thing... news from the old capital not only doesn't mention anything about the Hero... but all the things that she was supposed to have fixed seem to have not been. The old castle is still in ruins, those who had been brought back from the threshold of death's door had gone past it.
In other news, there have been sightings of a blue man walking through the city. Rumors are conflicting if he's actually blue or just dressed in blue, but there's something cold about him. But with the Hero about, no one's been paying a wit of attention to him.
