[Gretel's over at Hawk's doorstep, knocking away. She's got a large satchel thrown over her shoulder and her wands were wound into her hair, keeping it up in a messy bun.]

Faolan? Are you home?

"I don't know." She admitted. "But I bet so!"

This is gross and exciting!

"Should stop her?"

[halfwitch]

"Do you want to?"

[greatsquirrelhunter]

"Yes! An adventure! We protect everyone!"

[halfwitch]

She grinned. "Then we need to get prepared."

[greatsquirrelhunter]

"How should we prepare?" Faolan bounded around her, knowing that Gretel would know what to do.

[halfwitch]

"We need an attack plan. We can't just run in and fight, she'll get us that way." She should know. Just fighting was how she'd been defeated.

[greatsquirrelhunter]

"Faolan can distract!" the boy offered.

[halfwitch]

"You gotta be faster than her for that." She warned. "You can't get hit."

[greatsquirrelhunter]

"Am fast! Can be wolf!"

[halfwitch]

"You can do that whenever you want?"

[greatsquirrelhunter]

"As long as Gretel helps!"

[halfwitch]

"How would I help with that?"

[greatsquirrelhunter]

"Gretel is smart! Can make plans! And Faolan can do things in plans!"

[halfwitch]

She raised a brow. "I thought you meant-never mind. Just leave the planning to me."

[greatsquirrelhunter]

"Yes! Gretel will do the planning!" Faolan wriggled eagerly. "What kind of plan will it be?"

[halfwitch]

"We'll have to find a way to surprise her, like a sneak attack. We'll need a diversion." She shouldn't look so proud over the word. "Something to draw her outside and keep her from noticing us."

[greatsquirrelhunter]

Faolan practiced the word 'diversion' several times.

"Should Faolan be diversion for Gretel?"

[halfwitch]

She grinned and nodded.

"Think you can draw her out?"

[greatsquirrelhunter]

"Yes! Faolan is good at getting attention!"

[halfwitch]

"Then that's what we'll do. You'll draw her out and I'll get her while she's distracted." Gretel decided gleefully.

[greatsquirrelhunter]

Brilliant! Faolan clapped his hands in anticipation.

[halfwitch]

"When should we go?"

[greatsquirrelhunter]

"Should go soon, right?" Faolan said. "Witch is dangerous, right?"

[halfwitch]

"As soon as we can. Because she is dangerous. Very dangerous. All witches are."
