4th of RD, afternoon.

[ the orb starts, cupped in its owner's hands as he sits on some random ass boulder or something. he's young, not even twenty it looks, with a lean, handsome face, and gold eyes, honey dark and serious. dark and messy hair, red scarf, charcoal jacket, against a backdrop of late afternoon sky over the city walls in the distance. a girl in blue sits with a polar bear sized... dog some distance away, quietly having A Moment of Feels. ]

I have some questions about... [ a little gesture at the surrounding... everything. he means like. the whole champion thing!!?? and stuff ] this place, the whole set up. People are listening to this, right?

[ LOOK he's just collecting data okay guys, ]

[The notepad is shut down and she can be seen looking off to the side, hands moving through the air as she signs as Giles.]

/Giles? Some people want to talk to you./

((ooc; Giles will be jumping in after this comment and he'll be translating for Ginia too.))

[Giles, who had been occupying himself just watching the people around and trying not to get walked through, catches sight of Ginia signing at him out of the corner of his eye. He looks back at her curiously, then sees the orb hovering in the air, the indistinct shape of a face within.]

Who on earth are you talking to?

[And then Giles approaches near enough to be visible within the orb. He looks back at Mako, slightly surprised to be suddenly confronted with someone he doesn't know, but tries to recover.] Oh. Um, h-hello. Something you needed?

[ mako's expression is mild, something a little more pleasant than serious, because he's glad he finally found the ghost guy! on the orb at least, ]

Hey. Yeah, can you hold on a second? [ he twists in his seat, one hand on the rock behind him for balance as he calls to the girl ]

Korra, I found him.

[streamlines]

[ korra looks away from the facewash she's getting from naga to turn back to mako. it takes her a moment to realise what he's on about—then she bounds over, leaping over the boulder on which mako is sitting to join him over the orb ]

You're the ghost?

[Ginia peers over to look at the newest person in the orb. She offers a wave to Korra then smiles at Giles.]

/Aren't you popular today. Orb is yours./

[Giles raises his eyebrows skeptically at Ginia.]

I am quite literally the only ghost in town. Or, um, so the reactions of the general populace have, have led me to believe.

[But, still. He'll guide the orb down a bit so he can take a seat.]

Just out of curiosity, is, is there, um, any particular reason you w-wanted to speak with me? Generally, I, um, I get the opposite reaction out of people.
