[Good afternoon, in this wonderful day, and by wonderful I mean uh, muddy and warm according to the info, we have this guy, dressed in his white and gold uniform, looking surprisingly chill for someone who seems to be a recent addition to the "champion" roster.

He flashes a polite smile at the orb once it is working.]

Good afternoon, I’m a newcomer. My name is Stephane Benjamin, from house Lancaster, but just "Stephane" is more than fine. I suppose you must see quite a few of these transmissions, considering how good these guys seem to be at picking heroes, so let’s spice it up a little with some conversation.

Is there any kind of organization among us uh... "heroes"? Or do you just roam around and do whatever you feel like? I wasn’t told anything about champion politics, and I wouldn’t like to step on any toes.
Also, if anyone at least knows exactly what’s the thing we are supposed to be fighting, that would be nice to know too. Other than whatever they told me about those thorns I’m pretty much walking in the dark here, and I’m in a bit of a hurry to go back.

Any information would be really useful. I can’t offer much in exchange, but maybe we can chat and find if I can be of any help. I’d be glad to lend a hand, even in exchange for some casual conversation. Maybe weather talk? It's pretty crappy today.

[He grins a little this time, pretty satisfied with how his first timer speech came out.

For the rest of the day Stephane will be roaming and peeking into every single place that is not off-limits, and then later in some quiet place he'll be swinging his brand new sword to get used to it, and obsessively checking his old gun-now-crossbow to make sure it works okay, so I guess anyone who wants to can feel free to bump into him.]

I suppose that makes sense for one who raises plants... They are much better at dealing with these kinds of weather than people.

[She nods slightly, she really did raise plants, but she knows that she has a connection with them as well.]

Right, I can understand the need for sunshine and rain and how t works for a plant, but people themselves don't really like the rain all that much.

I'm okay with rain, there's nothing wrong about getting a little wet, but mud is really not my thing.

And since they both come kind of hand in hand, it's complicated.

I can understand, mud is very hard to move in.

And it also gets everything dirty... I'd rather have rain when I'm better prepared for it.

[She nods slightly.]

Right, that does make sense.

Weather can always be complicated.

[Stephane pauses a moment, thoughtful.]

I take it you are good at dealing with plants, miss? Do you mind if I ask you a question?

[magicalflowers]

[She nods slightly.]

Yes, I deal with plants, since where I'm from our world is full of them. So, what is it that you want to ask?

A place like your world sounds quite nice. We had a few places back at home that had all kinds of plant life, but our cities just had parks and gardens.

Have you taken a look at these thorns we are supposed to stop?

[magicalflowers]

It was such a beautiful world. It a place where you could learn alot about the plant life.

As for your question. I have been to see the thorns once before.

I see, it sounds like quite the place. It's really interesting how different from each other the worlds can be.

I see. Had you ever seen something like that before?

[She shakes her head slightly.]

No, it was not something I had ever seen before. couldn't even hear it like I would any kind of plant.

I see... That information could be really useful to maybe discover how to stop them.

[magicalflowers]

[She puts a finger lightly against her chin, tapping it a couple of times.]

I said I would keep track of it, since I left a plant there to keep an eye on things, so that can keep us informed.

That sounds really useful. At least it means the thorns won't surprise us if they decide to jump at the town.

[magicalflowers]

That's right. But I have to check it ever four days or so since I do have a distance to travel.

I see. Well, if I can ever lend a hand with anything just let me know.
