The people around here are very obsessed with romance and marriage. They [He jerks a thumb over his shoulder] spent most of the morning gossiping to me about those people who got married because of the spinner thing. They're not too happy that none of us got married over this.

It's kind of weird how they act about us when they barely know us, isn't it?

It doesn't feel like it, but I don't know what kind of magic is involved in that kind of spell. It might be very difficult to control.

But they keep bringing more people here. I don't know, but I think if they were really working to send us back they wouldn't be getting more people.

You would think if they were truly serious about sending us back they would have canceled the other spell out first. I am inclined to agree with that.

Exactly. [sigh] I wish they'd give us a better idea of why they brought us here other than trying to make us their heroes.

Unfortunately I am not sure they know any more than that. The townspeople at least always seem so clueless.
