The people around here are very obsessed with romance and marriage. They [He jerks a thumb over his shoulder] spent most of the morning gossiping to me about those people who got married because of the spinner thing. They're not too happy that none of us got married over this.

It's kind of weird how they act about us when they barely know us, isn't it?

They all do seem very interested in the idea that we should settle down here. I suppose to them we are kind of like celebrities and they are fascinated by every little thing we do.

But that's kind of silly, don't you think? I don't think anyone has been here long enough to get that far in a relationship.

Of course I think it's pretty silly and it can make for a few awkward conversations when you are innocently talking about something entirely different but they decided to ask when you are getting married and to whom.

It's a lot more awkward when they keep telling you to marry a prince.

I always found the suggestion of a Princess a little more awkward.

But, I wonder what they think they would gain from any kind of union like that anyway. Is it really just curiosity or are they acting this way because that is how the 'story' usually ends?

Not into that or because they're royalty? I just find the Prince thing awkward because they keep calling me a Princess when they say it.

Oh so you are supposed to be a Princess? I can never keep these distinctions straight.

[Mostly due to the fact that they don't make much sense to him. People are people, not roles.]

No I don't have a problem with royalty at all. I suppose I really have nothing to complain about if people like you could be Princesses.

Supposed to be. I don't think it really fits! I don't mind girl's clothes, I wear them a lot, but I don't really like the dresses they keep trying to make me wear.

Guys are more interesting to me. Not that it really matters. I am currently far more interested in trying to return to the world I came from.

If there is ever a rabbit invasion I will know who to call.

I'm sure it is. Unfortunately there haven't been very many clues as to how to accomplish that.

I know. Not even talking to the king had come up with anything and he's says that he's why we're here.

I really doubt he did anything other than order us to be brought here. The mages he called for were the ones to cast the spell. They should be able to find a way to send us back too.

I don't think they're trying to hard to send us home.

It doesn't feel like it, but I don't know what kind of magic is involved in that kind of spell. It might be very difficult to control.

But they keep bringing more people here. I don't know, but I think if they were really working to send us back they wouldn't be getting more people.

You would think if they were truly serious about sending us back they would have canceled the other spell out first. I am inclined to agree with that.

Exactly. [sigh] I wish they'd give us a better idea of why they brought us here other than trying to make us their heroes.

Unfortunately I am not sure they know any more than that. The townspeople at least always seem so clueless.

Yuki always seemed a little annoyed by the attention. They were kinda mean to the rest of us.

They really are! Even after so long of ignoring them, they're still mean to Jounouchi-kun and everyone... I don't want to be near someone who's just going to be mean to my friends.
