Day Change: the 19th of Rebirth's Height
Today is the 19th day of the Height of the Season of Rebirth in the 137th Year Since the Wall Fell.
There's a lot more worried grumbling in the town today. More wolves, one white and one black have been sighted, leading to many dire predictions for the turn of the month. New Moons are always bad, but one that shows on the switch of calendar are always said to be the worst ones. Of course, if you listen to the old fogie in the bar, he'll stubbornly point out that the new moon's supposed to fall on the first, that's how they made the dang calendar, as often broken as it is. And besides, someone said they saw a unicorn in the woods. Doesn't that count for something?
The errant spinning wheel has been caught and dealt with in a spectacular bonfire in the field near the Two Faced Forest. Only two marriages resulted, non with the heroes, much to the lament of the romantics in the town.
The forecast calls for rain rain and more stupid rain today, much to the delight of the farmers and the annoyance of everyone else.
