Day Change: the 18th of Rebirth's Height
Today is the 18th day of the Height of the Season of Rebirth in the 137th Year Since the Wall Fell. Two more days til the day changer needs to go write out a new sign. Or new section of it, anyway, the lazy git.
There's been sightings of all sorts of creatures in the town that shouldn't be. A fox, wolves... plus that odd blue and black creature that no one could quite decide on the species of. None of them attacking, mind, which meant they were supernatural critters and should be avoided at all cost. Not a good sign this close to the New Moon. Neither are the multiple fires that were reported. First the monastery, then the castle? And then the room in the castle that was trashed by one of the princes? Very troubling.
Speaking of the castle, with all the people falling prey to the rouge spinning wheel, another wing has been set up to house all the unclaimed victims. The castle staff was good enough to provide Princess dresses for them all, regardless of gender or Role, and a proclamation was sent out to gather all the Princes [and eligible bachelors] to come and wake the sleeping maidens. Yes, even the male ones. If you got your finger pricked, you were obviously temporarily being made into a Princess and everyone knew that Princesses were Maidens (even when they weren't.) All hero types will be pestered into going to due their duty and get their lips puckering. Find yourself a nice girl, kiss he awake, and have a royal wedding! You'll be right at the castle for it and everything, go on! It's even the prefect weather for it, sunny and cool! There's a royal wedding every Rebirth's Height, c'mon, get with it!

A log will go up for all still under the sleep spell. Anyone who wants to hunt down the spinning wheel with an ax, have at it!
