To those of you whom I may have acted towards in an ill manner: I wanted to take a moment to apologize for my actions. They did not reflect how a representative of Asgard ought to present themselves in a foreign land.

[They reflected perfectly how representatives of Asgard actually conduct themselves in foreign lands, but that is not the point :|]

In spite of the King's generous offer of amnesty, if you've want of restitution or your honor needs satisfied, I encourage you to seek me out.

[[a small shrug]] It really isn't your fault. And... [[a small hesitation]] I haven't been entirely honest about things... so really... it was all right that you were upset.

[brosif]

We all have our own private matters -- but I do not understand guarding yours when there are many here who would gladly provide assistance.

[shiromadoushi]

[[looks down slightly]] I didn't want people to be upset with me for forgetting them... [[admits in a soft voice.]] I don't really have much luck with friends....

You say I should not blame myself for cursed actions, and yet you would blame yourself for being robbed of your memories? You ought to give yourself the same credit you give to others.

[shiromadoushi]

[[a small sheepish smile there]] Knowing me, it was probably my fault for it happening....

[brosif]

I would hedge my bets and blame it on the same landscape that sees fit to curse people with no warning.

[shiromadoushi]

[[a faint laugh]] I guess. I still wish I knew what I had been doing in that forest that caused that... [[shakes his head slightly]]

[brosif]

Hm. Perhaps a mage could be of assistance?

[shiromadoushi]

Who else is there that is one? [[That he could trust. He'd had far too many people messing with his mind back home, he was none to eager to be put back in that situation...]]

[brosif]

In truth, there are no mages here that I know well enough to recommend. But Sir Alanna is adept enough with magic and trustworthy -- have you spoken with her?

[shiromadoushi]

Aaaa... u-- un... I have... [[such an awkward, strained smile]] It... didn't exactly go too well, when she tried to help me with my magic before.... [[There were rather frightening things in his head that he really didn't want to go near]]

[brosif]

Hm. Is there anyone here you trust?

[shiromadoushi]

I don't really know anyone.... [[points out a bit apologetic and saddened.]]

[brosif]

[There's sympathy in her voice.]

And I know few. There is a powerful spellcaster here. A boy named Kori, who claims to be on the side of right. But it was his own spell that brought us here. If you were to seek his assistance, I would caution you to remember that fact.

[shiromadoushi]

The other White Mage, right? [[he nods slightly]] Un... I could ask him.

[brosif]

Keep your mind about you when you do -- the parts of it you still lay claim to.

[shiromadoushi]

[[He looks a bit distressed at that, but nods. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea... With how often his mind had been invaded, occupied and toyed with...]]

[His unease is plain enough to read. Sif knows something of that.]

Or you can learn to live without your memories. The choice is yours.

[shiromadoushi]

I may just do that... [[admits softly.]] And just meet everyone here again.
