Day Change: the 14th of Rebirth's Height
Today is the 14th day of the Height of the Season of Rebirth in the 137th Year Since the Wall Fell.
The bulletin board today looks like the aftermath of a bar fight. Things have been torn down, nasty things scrawled [both in words and in pictures for those who aren't so good with words] and with all the fights that have gone on around it, the keeper of the board is now standing in front of it with a large stick, just daring people to mess with it again.
And you don't have to read anything on it to hear the rumors of the day, they're being spread loud and often! After all, it's not every day someone tries to assassinate the King! In fact, it's not something that anyone can ever remember happening. And to think it was one of those good for nothing heroes who tried it...
The marketplace suffered its share of fights, with rumors of a horned demon flipping tables before being dragged away by the city guard, haggling turned into full blown arguments and sometimes fist fights. The guard has been on high alert, but the dungeons filled up so quickly that they had to let people out again after only a few hours once they had calmed down again.
Really, you'd think it was a New Moon out there with how everybody was acting!
