Characters: Thor + Loki + anyone else!
Open? Yes
Where: taking a short rest, more for his steed than anything else, somewhere North.
When: Day 10, noon. He's been riding almost as soon as he had woken on Day 9, night.
What: determined to find some sign of life in the realm he's now been thrust into, Thor is on the lookout for friend as well as foe...
Warnings: if threatened, things could escalate to violence, but he will not be the first to land a blow most likely - he's not here to make enemies.

Thor pauses, still in the raise of his hand to the mane of his horse. Eyes glancing sharply behind him at the sound he thought he had heard - "Who is there?"

His hand may have been on the hilt of his sword, but he would not draw first. Not unless he had to.. He takes a step forward, tilting his head as he looks into the thickets ahead...

"Speak. If you be not an enemy, I will not attack!"

"Yes.. the 'real thing'," he repeats, unimpressed. He watched him, his mind busy something that showed on his face and nodded at his question, not really caring to explain to one who doubted his honesty... but his lips quirked a bit. He mounted his steed with ease, satisfied of no threat from this man. Perhaps of earache, but nothing more.

He chuckles at the thought as he looks down, sun at his back, his hair falling forward a little as he nods, "if we meet again, friend - I will answer you. For now, I am afraid I have no time. You must return to your companions.. as I must accumulate some of my own."

Oh. He really wasn't used to people leaving him... well... usually he left first because he could say it was his choice. This was different and it shut him up for now. A lot of that childish curiosity shut down as he needed to him. He considered apologizing, but he never was very good at that to begin with.

"Sure. But you know, you could always stick around with Steve and I. You'd probably like him." Everyone liked Captain Rogers. After all... he was Captain America and every bit the hero all the stories made him out to be. Just... even better when you met the man behind the stories. "Have a safe trip. Head that way to the road..." He pointed vaguely in the direction then looked back at the woods. "I'll be out here a while." Waving slightly, he pushed his horse aside when he moved off to get back to his investigating.

Thor frowned, adding up the information as he patted the neck of his hose slowly. That name.. familiar somehow.

He nods again, "I thank you.. and should we meet again, Tony - I hope you will allow me to talk more than you do."

With that, Thor winks as he catches the reins up and takes off in a steady gallop in search of whatever the land cared to bring him.

"Sure, no prob--..." Hey wait a minute. Staring after him a long moment, he huffed to himself. Waving Thor off, he started off and looked over at his horse. "I don't talk that much."

The horse snorted at him and he frowned. "No one asked for your back talk. Just keep moving and keep your comments to yourself."
