I am Sir Alanna, of Pirate’s Swoop and Olau. Although my guests have assured me they haven’t the slightest idea of where either of those or even Tortall is.

I know his Majesty the King is in charge here, but I’m more interested in our fighting population. [ She says ‘our’ not to claim it as hers, but to emphasize that she intends to be a part of it. ] How are you organized? More importantly, when and where do you train together?

For his sake, I hope they're nothing like Captain Hook.

[She still remembered the horrible way Hook had listed all the other captains he'd killed.. alphabetically]

I'm sure some of them are different, but for the most part I think they're all alike. You have to be a certain kind of person to get into that business.

[ It says more about her husband than the pirates. :| ]

George can take care of himself well enough.

Peter Pan always manages to come out unscathed from his dealings with the pirates too.

Are you missing your husband terribly? [She added with some concern]

I'm sure he's worried that I've disappeared so suddenly, but duty often calls me away from home. [ She's lucky, she just saw him yesterday. ]

This is normal in your world?

As the King's Champion I'm all the time called to do this thing or that. [ Bother. ]

That must be quite thrilling. [She doesn't see how that could be boring at all] I've been selected to go on a few quests myself.

I always feel so honored when I'm chosen.

The best adventures are the ones you go on of your own accord. [ It's much more fun to go gallivanting around without the King's permission~ ]

[Rani didn't go on many trips solo.. but there was that time she went to the Mermaid Lagoon..] There is something to be said for those as well!

[.. But she's quite easy to please and wouldn't ignore Queen Clariron's orders intentionally.]
