[Log] West Haven
Characters: All on the road to West Haven
Open? Yep
Where: Starting at the gate of Schwanheim, on the way to and in West Haven
When: The 5th of Rebirth's Height
It was a clear morning, a touch warmer than the previous days, a sign that Rebirth was progressing along. For the more superstitious of Schwanheim's residents, it seemed a good omen for the heroes' journey to the unfortunate town of West Haven. Of course with how the weather of Rebirth ran, it might be pouring rain by the time they left the gates but that was Rebirth for ya.
[[OoC: this log will be split into 3 parts/sub threads. You don't have to tag the preparations or travel threads to arrive at West Haven.]]

“Just a little difference of opinion then, hopefully you and your ride will be able to work it out.”

But for now, Dark stretched his arms and started after his horse at a leisurely pace. "I don't see why we're riding at all. We aren't going much faster than I could walk."

Everyone he had talked to had been saying that at least and sadly the map he had gained from his little fact finding mission in the library hadn’t shown the distances. So it was really impossible to tell just how far away the West Haven actually was.

"Oi, stupid horse!" He shouted at his stallion as he approached. The horse paused in its grazing to eye its new master briefly and then continued as though he had seen nothing of interest.

"Flown? I was under the impression that advanced technology wasn't available here... unless you have some magical way to do that?"

"You know any other way to fly?" He asked sarcastically, ignoring Eagle (and Dark would be the first to admit) mostly because he was male.

Unfortunately all of those ways, for the moment, seemed impossible in this world. This was another of the things Eagle had decided to check into later on. How advanced was this world really? What where they capable of constructing? A mecha might be out of their league, but could they manage a hovercraft?
Again, these were thoughts to look into at some more appropriate time. For now Eagle just watched as the horse continued his grazing, seemingly entirely unconcerned that his rider was missing.
