Day Change: the 2nd of Great Heat's Height
Today is the 2nd day of the The Height of the Season of Great Heat in the 137th Year Since the Wall Fell.
Strange how the days feel shorter in Great Heat... well, that's only true because some people like to sleep the days away. Too hot to bother with anything, really. That's why the King's audiences are closed again.
...wait, what? No, that isn't right. They were open all last year, regardless of Heat or Cold... This is truly getting strange! Heroes, won't you go find out the source of the King's melancholy? ...what's that look for? Don't you love the King? .... well, I never!
The weather is expected to continue be hot and dry. If this keeps up, there may be need for tenting again. Wouldn't do any good to let the crops wither, after all! Especially when the old White Mage is gone and the young one's sleep asleep... or out of reach, whichever the case may be. Monks have been acting a might strange since the fire in the White Forest, after all...
