Characters: Selene Cassidy, anyone else
Open? Yes
Where: Schwanheim, mostly around the Markets
When: GHB5, Mid-morning through Late-afternoon
What: Selene is pretending to be getting ready for the party.
Warnings: Possible language, depending on who tags.
After a good hour closeted away with the dressmaker (who saw some reaon and agreed to at least lessen the amount of lace she would add to the dress), Selene stepped onto the street and squared her shoulders. She looked around, studying the faces around the street and browsing the stalls. A hand touched her throat, and she frowned. She recited her mental list, frowning a little more as her ees lingered at a few of the stalls and shops. "Blacksmith can wait," she declared to the city as a whole, and stepped into the street proper.
As she walked, she bought a small, friend bun, and then a sweet roll, and the some kind of friend tuber. She smiled as she took a bite of it, thinking that Jason would have loved it. It reminded her of sweet potatoes, but still wasn't quite right. A soft sigh, as she reminded herself to take what she could get. A vendor's call caught her attention, waving something about. She stepped closer, taking a deep breath.
"Is that turtle?"

He followed her glance at the sky, not sure what she saw up there. "Are lots of good things to see and get!" he finally finished.

She considered him, and them smiled a little. "Well, we can both hunt, and we'll both protect anyone else who can't."

At the shop, she looked in the window, herself, smiling. "Well, are you coming in? Hopefully the brownies won't try to slip shoes on you while you wait."

She looked back at him and grinned. "Come on. Maybe we'll even find something you'll want to try on."
