[Orb] 1st Great Heat's Beginning. Midmorning.

[golden_moon]

[A new face in the orb. Hair falls into her face, and she pushes it back, lowering the orb, and showing the top of a light, blue dress. Behind her, some might recognize a side room in the castle. She presses her lips together, and then looks into the Orb.]

Well. What a fine place to find myself, isn't it? I ain't been inside a castle for a long time, and now I get to live in one. Can't really complain about that, now, can I?

[The hint of a smile touches her lips, and she glances off to the side.]

The older gentleman who greeted me had quite a story about the state of things, and the others brought in to do something about it.

[Without hurry, her gaze settles back onto the orb.]

I'll have to admit, whatever I might have seen, I still ain't sure I'm really scared at the thought of a few weeds. How bad is it, really?

Loki has said that it's a part of the battle between order and chaos taking place in this world. If that's the case, then the thorns would be in favor of chaos, wouldn't they?

[golden_moon]

Loki?

[A slow breath.]

Anything's possible, but I'd have no idea what I'm talking about if I were to theorize.

Besides, seeing the world in black and white, good and evil, right and wrong...well, that usually leads to messy situations.

[tatra]

I'd say we're in a bitty of a messy situation now, wouldn't you?

[golden_moon]

I'd counter that I haven't the faintest qualifications to judge such matters. At least not right now.

Who is Loki?

[tatra]

He is a prince here, from the same world as Lady Sif if I recall. Asgard, perhaps?

He's been in a bit of a mood lately, I suspect he's out of town at the moment.

[golden_moon]

A shame. Oh, well.

Order and chaos. If the thorns serve one or the other, are they acting of their own free will, or is that being you mentioned directing them?

[tatra]

It's hard to say. It's entirely possible that the thorns themselves are sentient.

[golden_moon]

That could be a problem. I took French in school, not Bramble.

[tatra]

Yes, there's still a great deal we don't know about the situation. It makes things rather difficult.

[golden_moon]

Well. I suppose there is something to be said for facing a challenge when it is before you.
