Day Change: the 19th of Rebirth's Decline
Today is the 19th day of the Decline of the Season of Rebirth in the 137th Year Since the Wall Fell.
It's a big day for the people of Schwanheim, for today the King will announce who will have the hand of a hero in marriage! There has been some fighting in the streets over this proclamation, girls fighting over scraps of paper while a black market for signatures (most of them out and out forgeries) bloomed. Why, it was almost like it was the night before a Height's Moon dance all over again!
The monks of the monastery would like to remind everyone that if an appointment is made, all are welcome to come look through the library. Also, there are additional books now on the missing list and if anyone would like to return any of them, no questions will be asked.
Back to the gossip, it would appear that all sides of the sordid love triangle of the Sage, Thief and Wizard are strong, as the first and last of that list were seen shopping for jewelry together! Or is it that after discovering the true nature of the Thief, that the Sage and Wizard have disowned their love for her and are consoling each other with their own company? And where does the strange woman that seemed to be trying to seduce the Wizard the other day fit into this picture?
The Bakery Princess has been seen in the company of a young Knight, much to the relief of thosestalking keeping a defensive watch on the poor dear. Perhaps with this strong figure at his side, the poor Princess will no longer be taken advantage of and will stop trying to move such heavy things on his own. While it may be fine for a princess to spend his days baking for others, it's just unseemly to have him try and lift those heavy things on his own!
The weather is predicted to be sunny and bright, prefect for marriages at the castle! Though there may be a horrible storm in the evening. Something about ice and thunder. Though the forecaster is rarely right about these things, even when he is, so it could just be nothing! Though really, it would be nice to get some proper rain. The water levels in the Big River seem to be going down....
