What: Shin goes dream walking.

Even in Dreams, Shin was restless. Without the normal background hum of hundreds of Dreamers, the Dreaming felt empty. Hollow.

Far to much like it had when his Dreaming had been sealed.

There were still the doors to the dreams of everyone who was asleep, even if so many of them seemed like cardboard cut outs... It was easy to spot the ones of those who weren't native of the world. They were more real, solid, and he could feel more clearly who was behind them. It was something he had noticed before, back home. The doors to fellow Dreamers were the more vibrant and real, and those who had strong powers were a close second. Idly he drifted through the insubstantial hallway, knocking on some to announce his presence, others just phasing into the dream and looking around. After all, it wasn't as if he expected most people to hear him knocking. They'd have to be aware for that, and he knew for a fact that there were no other Dreamers around and active dreamers were rare.

His clothes would now be something akin to a school uniform. A white shirt with a green jacket with gold trimming, and black pants to match. Either way students were typically allowed to wear normal clothes on fridays through sunday. So even if Shin hadn't altered his appearance Helios wouldn't have noticed much. Still as he makes his way further down the hall he'll smell the airy aroma of vanilla getting stronger and stronger as he goes deeper. The hallway looks like it stretches on endlessly but the walls on either side are lined with doors.

Shin might notice that he's being followed by something then and there. Black seemingly formless phantom like beings that use the castle's walls and floors as their means of travel. They won't do anything as long as Shin doesn't look like a threat at least.

Huh. Another castle of Shadows...? He watches the shadows move, trying to see if he can tell where they're going, where the hub of the dream is.

Though the source of the scent is a good bet too...

Not a castle of shadows just shadows that live in a castle. They're typically friendly enough, depending on who it is. The phantoms continue to move down through the hallway. Always pausing to make sure Shin is following and to keep a watch on Shin as he makes his way closer to the kitchen. From the kitchen a warm bright light spills out of casting a separation in the darkness on the floor. The phantoms will idly linger around the kitchen area as if waiting for Shin to enter first.

A man is humming an interesting, though probably unfamiliar, tune as he sits at a table and watches the oven. There's pot of tea on the stove still hot and steaming as water has just been boiled and his own cup steams and produces a lovely smelling aroma of vanilla and chai.

It's all so very similar to the Amontillado that he half expected to see Helena bent over the stove muttering about a bad date. It almost brings a smile to his face to think of.

He turned, looking at the seated man, checking for signs that this was indeed the dreamer; the extra touch of something more real about him that would make him stand out if you were looking for it.

Though with how the Shadows were leading him, it was a safe guess.
