ORB - RD9

[For a second Tony just stares at the orb, trying to figure out what exactly makes it tick before deciding whether or not it's a good idea to soliliquize into it. But being as communication with his people is more important than puzzle solving at the moment, he pulls it back and begins to speak]

When I was in college my friends and I went to King Richard's Faire. I hated it then, and I haven't gotten any keener on the idea. We live in a modern age, people, quit pretending you're artisan craftspeople working to outfit your quaint medieval village and appease your king. News flash: you're all investment bankers and lawyers and teachers. Sorry to be the one to break the bad news. But from what I can tell, that 'going back to your real job' thing isn't really going to be much of an option here. Which is..really, it's peachy. It's like unwanted forced vacation. To a war zone.

[an obviously frustrated Tony takes a slight pause.]

Anyone else here I know? Aside from Robin Hood and the jolly blue frost giant.

[[a snort]] Because castles all vanished with the invention of plumbing. There plenty of them still around in modern time as there's this little thing people do where they take bits of the past and modernize them so that they don't suck.

Sucks to be you then, huh? [[looking amused as he takes a drink from his mug. Such sympathy]]
