[Good afternoon, today in the Stephane show, he shows up after a while of being away. He looks a little messier than the last time, but this is easy to understand. He seems to be walking around the town as he speaks.

I want to say that this absence was totally because he was exploring around and getting used to everything, and that it had NOTHING to do at all with his player being trapped in cosplay frenzy, yep.]

I want to believe I'm not the only one who sees this one coming, right? There is no need to predict the future to know that this is going to get good and messy anytime soon.
Thorns move faster, mountain is quiet, date guy is not changing the date... And of course suddenly everyone is asking us to take a walk in the mountain to check on anyone we may know.

So, an easy question for the oldbies: How does one prepare for incoming catastrophes? And, a more complicated one, what kind of catastrophe can we expect?

And for the recent arrivals, "messy" seems to be approaching, so if you are not one ready to deal with "messy" it's a good time as any to find some companions to hang out with. Oh. And welcome.

[There is a grin after that. For a guy who is expecting incoming catastrophe, he looks quite comfortable xD]

So, have those kinds of things happened before here?

Yes. All kinds of things happen. Lots of good things! Lots of less good things too.

That sounds like my kind of catastrophes all right, I guess it will be fun then.

So, can I consider you a local expert on catastrophes?

Oh, yes! Any mischief and trickery!

You must be having plenty of fun, with how messy things are around here.

It's marvelous fun! And so funny!

Messy usually implies getting dirty. So, I'm guessing this is something that happens often.

I was told that a few things happened before that affected everyone, so I wouldn't be surprised about something happening again, considering all these signs.

Do you think it is something bad? Could it be why we're here?

We're supposed to be here to get rid of those thorns, right?

Considering that the thorns are moving faster, it could be related, but for the time being it's just speculation. I can't tell for sure without some real proof.

How dangerous are these thorns anyway?

I still owe myself an excursion to check on them personally, but they seem to be really durable, and immune to many types of magic or force...

And considering that they keep on getting closer, I'd say they are pretty dangerous.

How far away are they from here?

As far as I've been able to gather? Besides the new moon, we, um, haven't really had a "catastrophe" to prepare for, besides the abstract threat of the thorns that is...well, rapidly becoming less abstract.

I guess my use of the word "catastrophe" may be a bit of an exaggeration, but I do think that something will be happening soon.

Oh no, I, I-I didn't mean to imply that in the slightest. "Catastrophe", if it isn't an accurate assessment now, will, um, almost certainly be one in future. What I meant was that, um...as, a-as far as I've been able to gather, this is, um, one of the first times we've had to deal with an outright and encroaching threat. Even the things in the forest didn't come out v-very far.

On the kind of bright side, something actually coming for us may give us a hint of what to do, other than panic and watch the thorns.
