What: In the Forest is a candy house, and a cranky old witch who wants these dang heroes to get the hell off her lawn!





Deep in the Two Faced Forest, next to a lake of impossible clarity sits a small candy house. Walls made of gingerbread, decorated with hard candy that magically stays unmelted in the sun, it's picturesque and inviting. Care to knock on the door? Or just have a nibble of the gingerbread? Either way, take great care. The witch is not known for her good nature...

"Ah!" Helios just flinches at the prob. Please to not be doing that again, thanks. He might shift in his position and look around. "I-I don't know. Th-that's what, what I c-came to find out. I-I mean I don't know m-much about the mechanics or laws of-of this l-land so." So he was trying to figure out just how exactly you have Chimeras and Rocs and all sorts of things living together in a forest and then they simply vanish during the day.

"M-Maybe it's, it's the thorns or something like that?"

She snorted in disbelief. "A wall only makes things invisible to an idiot with no sense."

Another deep frown at that. You are not making this any easier on him, you know? "I-I apologize. So it's n-not the thorns then?" He'll ask in a fleeting tentative question.

Not her job to make anything easy for would be intruders.

"Is your brain so small to think that a wall o weeds like that could spawn those magnificent terrors?"

"Ah-! W-Well they're not, not ordinary weeds are they? I-I mean if they're like the thorns encroaching on the countryside I-I don't know what sorts of powers they might have..."

She snorted with disdain. "Are all things so alike in your simple little mind that you can't tell the difference between a wall and a parasite?"
