The party went on, with the beast's head on display. A proud, twisted thing. Behind false ruby eyes, it waited. And as the music became slower and the wine less plentiful, it waited still.

Those who had gazed upon it at the ball. Those who had seen it once living in the forest. All heroes who dared to look upon its face and dream still that they would be able to live another day...

There are all sorts of ways of living. In waking. In sleep. Perhaps, now, they would find one in between.

(ooc: Feel free to keep tagging into the party post! Once your characters go home and go to sleep of their own accord, that is when the dreaming will begin. Remember, it is up to you to set up what kind of world your character is trapped in and how best to help them. Plotting post is here, make use of it!

The beast's power will wane once the bulk of the dreamers have escaped his curse. If your character was not at the party but you still want to involve them in the dream plot, that is fine! They can either help get people out or have seen the beast wandering in the woods before it was killed and have caught its attention that way.

"Tatra would probably fall over dead if she wasn't drinking tea," Tarta teased. Tatra laughed.

"We are helping Cephiro to rebuild."

[greatsquirrelhunter]

"that is good," Faolan said in approval before a thought stopped him. "How helping one place when in another?"

[tatra]

"We're taking a short break," Tarta explained impatiently. "Things have stabilized in Cephiro for the time being."

[greatsquirrelhunter]

"What does that mean?" Faolan asks, sipping at his tea and looking at both sisters. "Must be good, right?"

[tatra]

"It means we've earned our rest," Tarta shot back. Tatra smiled sweetly.

"Yes, it's a very good thing."

[greatsquirrelhunter]

"Going to stay here forever?" It was a nice place, he supposed.

[tatra]

The sisters glance at each other again.

"It is our home." Of course they were going to stay.

[greatsquirrelhunter]

"Don't always stay at home," Faolan pointed out. "Could sart a new pack, or just join one. Live is Schwanheim now instead of New York."

[tatra]

"You don't have to leave the country to do that," Tarta scoffed.

[greatsquirrelhunter]

"Don't have to stay either. Especially if things happening outside of home. Like thorns."

[tatra]

"I don't know about these thorns," Tarta argued. "But I've no plan to leave Chizeta unless we're able to merge with Cephiro as planned." Tatra sat to the side and drank her tea.

[greatsquirrelhunter]

Faolan considered this for a long time. "Not get bored?"

[tatra]

This seemed to actually make Tarta angry. Tatra attempted to make soothing noises.

"We are princesses of Chizeta. We must run our kingdom, we won't get bored!"

[greatsquirrelhunter]

"Faolan doesn't get bored either! Always something to do!"

[tatra]

Tarta huffed, but finally sat down.

Tatra laughed.

"You're a funny little boy, aren't you?"

[greatsquirrelhunter]

"I am?" Faolan asked. "Is that good?"

[tatra]

Tarta snorted.

"Of course," Tatra assured him, as Tarta rolled her eyes.

[greatsquirrelhunter]

"You are good too," he answers with a smile just for Tatra.
