Action: but you never tire of dreams

Characters: Any willing dreamers
Open? Yes
Where: In your minds
When: After the party
What: Part two of the dream plot!
Warnings:

The party went on, with the beast's head on display. A proud, twisted thing. Behind false ruby eyes, it waited. And as the music became slower and the wine less plentiful, it waited still.

Those who had gazed upon it at the ball. Those who had seen it once living in the forest. All heroes who dared to look upon its face and dream still that they would be able to live another day...

There are all sorts of ways of living. In waking. In sleep. Perhaps, now, they would find one in between.

(ooc: Feel free to keep tagging into the party post! Once your characters go home and go to sleep of their own accord, that is when the dreaming will begin. Remember, it is up to you to set up what kind of world your character is trapped in and how best to help them. Plotting post is here, make use of it!

The beast's power will wane once the bulk of the dreamers have escaped his curse. If your character was not at the party but you still want to involve them in the dream plot, that is fine! They can either help get people out or have seen the beast wandering in the woods before it was killed and have caught its attention that way.

Helios might find himself walking into a kitchen with a lovely aroma of freshly made pancakes. He realizes instantly that this isn't his house and oh gods what is he even doing here?!

"O-Oh! Oh. I'm, I'm so s-sorry. I-I don't know how I got here. I-I didn't mean to, to intrude." He is just going to back away and make to turn around and head right out of the kitchen, whoops, how embarrassing.

"You wandered in because the door was open," Snow smiled, pouring a new pancake. "Hardly an intrusion when it's an invitation..."
folklorist: (I don't honestly know)

Helios blinks turning to look back at the woman with that same sheepish expression on his face. "O-Oh. I, ah, I-I see." He might turn just a bit more now in the doorway.

"Everything, um, s-smells lovely by the way."

"Would you like some? I've made plenty. So many I don't even think my little wolf can eat them all," she laughed, looking out the window with a fond and almost lazy smile.
folklorist: (Curiousity killed the cat you know?)

"O-Oh! I. I-I shouldn't. I-I mean they're for y-you and...and it would be r-rude of me, really." Do not mind the awkward that is Helios. He is not used to ending up randomly in people's homes and getting offered food. He rubs the back of his neck as he looks out the window.

"Little wolf?"

She nods. "He's out playing with his sister. They really work up an appetite playing like that," she reflects, looking out the window where the two children where playing with a dreamy, fond expression.
folklorist: (Never seen anything like it)

Helios manages a smile and a light laugh at that. Ah, yes, children. They are just bursting with energy aren't they?

"They certainly do. I-I imagine they'll probably want some of these delicious pancakes themselves." Which is why Helios is probably not going to eat any now.

"There's plenty. I can keep making them and making them, the batter never runs out, you know?" she smiles, starting to pour yet another pancake, this one a slow, lazy spiral.
